Build a Summit delegation
This October, thousands of people will gather in Manchester and London to organise, collaborate, and build the future together as part of two summits.
A space for organisers, campaigners, trade unionists, activists, creatives, educators, community leaders and local people to organise, collaborate and share strategies about how we stop the far right.
This is not a conference for people who sit back and listen. It is a summit to build power and plan action.
Saturday 17 October → Manchester Summit
Saturday 24 October → London Summit
Building a local delegation is a great way to build relationships locally, take joint action and bring people together.
1. Commit to building a delegation
It always starts with a decision to act together. Let us know that you’re building a delegation and we’ll ask local attendees if we can share their details with you.
2. Invite local organisations to send representatives
Let people know that you’re organising the delegation and encourage them to add the delegation to their registration.
You can use template emails, graphics and posters to build attendance.
3. Send a pre-summit message
We can send one email to attendees of your delegation in advance of the Summit.
Think about how you want to represent your alliance in your message, what do you want people to do?
You could advertise the opportunity to travel together, or set a date for a post-Summit meetup.
4. Send a post-summit message
Use this opportunity to pull your delegation back together. You might want to organise a social or a planning meeting.
It’s important to bring people back together soon after the Summits to keep building momentum.
