When organising as a local Together Alliance, you may want to establish social media channels to amplify your Alliances’ activities.
Remember – these channels will represent Together as an alliance, and shouldn’t reflect the work or views of one individual or group.
Below are some social media guidelines to help you make your online activity as impactful as possible.
Messaging guidelines
When posting public messages on social media, local Together Alliances will be representing a broad spectrum of organisations, trade unions, faith groups and campaigners. Message discipline will be vital in ensuring Alliances stay focussed on our aim of coming together against the far-right, and do not simply replicate work that is already being done by local activists.

As your Together Alliance channels will represent a broad collective of organisations it is important to maintain our focus and avoid creating tension that could undermine the Alliance’s unity.
